Mission
The mission of the First Missionary Baptist Church Sisterhood Ministry is to enlist, edify, empower, and encourage women within FMBC to develop as disciples of Jesus Christ in their witness, word, works and worship. The Sisterhood Ministry serves to help all women develop and nurture a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ to live fruitful and abundant lives.

Description
The Sisterhood Ministry centers on meeting the spiritual and social needs of women in the First Missionary Baptist Church with fellowship and worship opportunities geared toward developing spiritual growth of females within our church.

Goals of the Sisterhood Ministry are:

1. Encourage spiritual growth and maturity.
2. Create opportunities where women can minister to women within FMBC.
3. Set up a peaceful environment where women can connect with other women believers.
4. Equip women to use their spiritual gifts to serve and reach others for Jesus Christ within their families and community.
5. Empower women to fulfill their call to discipleship, stewardship and servant leadership via networking, teaching, mentoring, conferences, retreats, seminars, workshops, etc.
